Phase One Certified Professional Training Program

Now that Capture One Pro 7 is official, we invite you to join the next Phase One Certified Professional Training Program (POCP VIII LONDON), to be held here in London on 18th & 19th December 2012 at Holborn Studios.

The aim of the POCP program is as follows:

For some time Phase One have felt that proper training and certification has been missing from digital photography. When we use digital assistants (or digital techs, or operators, as they are also known) is there any way to be 100% sure that they are qualified to do the job, other then their experience to date?

If you look at every other section of the IT industry there are courses available which lead to qualifications and certifications. Yet when it comes to digital photography, and looking after all the data from a shoot, nothing exists!

So we are setting out to change that by introducing the Phase One Certified Professional training program.

There have already been many of these POCP courses so far in the USA and 6 in the UK and they have been very well received.

This is a two day course and will run at Holborn Studios. Staff from Phase One’s technical department will run the course, and we will supply cameras and lenses. All we ask is that you bring along your laptop.

Included in the course is: technology behind Phase One backs and cameras; trouble-shooting computers, backs and cameras; and advanced operation of backs, etc.

Those that succeed and pass the course are able to call themselves a Phase One Certified Professional and will be listed on the www.phaseone.com website.
