The latest version of the Novoflex ClassicBall 3 ball and socket head can be used conventionally, or upside down as a levelling panning base. The panoramic base has damped movement, degree markings and can be independently locked. Three vertical 90° slots allow 180° side-to-side movement, and friction control is by click stops, which allows a precise, repeatable setting for different loads. The ball lock lever has a short throw and minimal bulk to avoid snagging and give easy use, even with gloves.

Top and bottom connections are reversible 1/4″ or 3/8″ screw, or 3/8″ socket (this can be adapted to 1/4″ if required).

• Panorama base with 360° laser engraved scaling with a built-in spirit level for use when the head is inverted. This feature enables perfectly level panning to be achieved without the need to adjust the tripod legs.
• Three vertical 90° openings for the ball neck.
