The Hedler DX15 is designed for professional use, with an average lifespan of about 6,000 hours.; the Electronic Ballast of approximately 60,000 hours! Another advantage – the Hedler DX 15s lamp provides a continuous light output that is equal to that of a normal 600-watt halogen lamp. In addition, it produces within the illuminated area a beam of light that (compared with a conventional halogen lamp head) causes a relatively small heat. Especially important for heat-sensitive materials, and definitely more enjoyable for people who are the subjects in a video portrait.

The Hedler DX15 Lamp has no forced cooling – so, it is perfectly suited for recordings with direct sound. With its metal halide lamp, it delivers flicker-free light of about 5800 degrees Kelvin. Moreover, the DX15 has a built-in Electronic Ballast with lamp failure detection.
