Many landscape photographers will testify that controlling exposure at sunrise or sunset can be tricky. The strength of the sun means it can appear blown out, and trying to adjust the exposure can leave other areas in the frame underexposed. Lee Filters Reverse ND filters have been specifically designed to give the photographer full control over images shot at the beginning and end of the day. They have a stronger density in the centre ( horizon line ) of the filter, with a carefully designed transition zone that gives a natural, balanced exposure to the sky. Available in 3 densities.

Designed specifically for the hugely popular ‘mirrorless’ camera market, the Lee 85 System is a new holder and filters to provide a more compact and portable range. Many users were frustrated by the fact that the Lee Seven5 System was too small and unsuitable for some lenses and the Lee 100 System would be too big, despite it’s adaptability.

The Lee 85 system with it’s more compact holder, rings and filters of 85 x 90mm size, 85 x 115mm, now provides the portability and versatility without the bulk.

All Lee 85mm Filters ND grads are hand made by in England, using technology that ensures the line of transition between the coated and clear areas of the filter is extremely precise. As a result, Lee have been able to expand the range of ND grads available to photographers using the Seven5, 100mm and SW150 filter systems. Now, alongside the traditional hard and soft gradations, photographers can also choose Medium, Very Hard and Reverse gradations, giving more control than ever when it comes to balancing exposures in-camera.
