The Leofoto CF-04 lens foot is an improved version of the tripod nacelle for the Canon 400mm, Canon 600mm and Canon 800mm lenses. The foot is made of durable and strong aluminum and is Arca-Swiss compatible. With this foot, it is no longer necessary to place a quick release plate under the tripod nacelle.
In the foot is a ¼-inch and a 3/8-inch screw hole for additional possibilities, think of attaching a magic arm or other accessory. In addition, the base also has a Leofoto Quick Detatch (QD) Socket to attach a Leofoto Quick Release carrying strap. This allows you to attach the sturdy camera carrying strap directly to your lens base.
