The Leofoto GC-364C Geared Center Column can be used with tripods that have a 75mm tripod plate that can be removed, such as the smaller tripods in the Leofoto Summit series. A geared center column is eminently useful if you want to adjust the height with exact precision.

This geared center column very is stable and strong so it can be used with any current Leofoto tripod. The maximum weight that the GC-364C can carry is therefore equal to the maximum carrying weight of the tripod and placed tripod head. Regardless of the weight of your camera, the height can be adjusted easily and with precision. At both ends of the center column is a 63mm platform to mount a tripod head. The GC-364C geared center column is milled from CNC aircraft aluminum, has a length of 480 mm and weighs 760 grams.

After removing the video plate in the tripod, lower the geared center column into the vacated space. In doing so, the rotary crank must be rotated in its entirety in the direction of the center column. This is easily done by pulling off the black top of the crank and turning it a quarter turn. After placing it, secure the center column the gray butterfly nut.
